Representatives of the Chinese nutrition community went to Portugal to attend the 37th European Conference on Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism.

37th European Conference on Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism, hosted by the European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism, was held in Lisbon, Portugal, from 5 September to 8 September 2015. Doctors and nursing professionals, nutritionists, pharmacists, and scientists from around the world are coming together to discuss the latest developments and potential synergies in nutrition and metabolism. The Chinese nutrition community also organized delegations to attend the meeting to exchange and learn. The theme of this conference is "Healthy Life Through Nutrition" to explore the important role nutrition plays in health throughout the process, from early to late life.. Since 1979, ESPEN, the European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism, has been working to rapidly integrate in-intestinal nutrition, or more broadly, research and applications related to clinical nutrition and metabolism. The influence factor in the Journal of Clinical Nutrition, sponsored by ESPEN of the European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism, rose to 4.476 in 2014, ranking 7th in the Journal of Nutrition..
