In recent years, in accordance with the "Regulations on the Administration of Feed and Feed Additives", our Ministry has formulated and issued the "Catalogue of Feed Ingredients" and "Catalogue of Feed Additives", which clarified the requirements for bacteria and raw materials used in fermentation production, and formulated and issued feed enzyme preparations and microbial feeds.
A series of national and industry standards for additives and other related products have played an important role in regulating the development of the industry

About the identification of strains

 

Strains are the basis for the quality and safety of microbial fermentation products
.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs attaches great importance to the safety supervision of microbial strains for feed, and implements catalog access management for microbial feed additives and strains produced in fermented products.
After safety assessment and review, lichen spores are listed in the "Catalogue of Feed Additives" A list of more than 30 species of bacteria allowed to be used such as bacilli

The strains used for direct feeding and feed fermentation should be the strains listed in the list, and the strains outside the list should be evaluated for safety and effectiveness, and can be used after being reviewed by the National Feed Review Committee; the fermentation process is used to produce microorganisms For feed additive products such as enzyme preparations, amino acids, etc.

　　In order to further standardize the identification and safety evaluation of bacterial strains, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs formulated and issued Announcement No.

In recent years, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the State Administration of Market Supervision have successively formulated and issued the General Requirements for Microbial Feed Additives (GB/T 23181), General Rules for Enzyme Preparations for Feed (NY/T 722), and Active Dry Yeast for Feed Additives (Saccharomyces cerevisiae)" (GB/T 22547), "feed microbial additive Bacillus licheniformis" (NY/T 1461), "detection of Bacillus subtilis in feed microorganism preparations" (GB/T 26428) and many other national standards And the agricultural industry standards provide technical support for effectively improving the quality and safety of microbial fermentation products by stipulating the general technical requirements of microbial fermentation products and the quality requirements of key products

For direct feeding of microorganisms, enzyme preparations and other microbial fermented feed additives and single feed products such as fermented soybean meal, the provincial agricultural and rural departments shall follow the "Feed Additive Production License Application Material Requirements" and "Single Feed Production License Application Material Requirements".
