The team of researcher Chen Yaning from the State Key Laboratory of Desert and Oasis Ecology, Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography, Chinese Academy of Sciences, used the GIMMS3g NDVI dataset (1982-2015) to analyze the changes and driving forces of vegetation phenology on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, and evaluated the vegetation phenology of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
The research results show that the inter-annual variation in the start of the growing season (SOS) and the length of the growing season (LOS) in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is relatively large; from the perspective of the trend change of SOS, the eastern and central areas of the study area are generally 0.
The related results were published in " Remote Sensing " under the title "Driving Forces of the Changes in Vegetation Phenology in the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau"
