Surface and interface water is ubiquitous in nature.
On November 20, 2021, Professor Jiang Ying’s research group from the Quantum Materials Science Center of Peking University School of Physics and Director of the Light Element Advanced Materials Research Center was invited to write a review "Using high-resolution atomic force microscopy to detect water-solid interfaces" ( Water-solid interfaces).

Starting from the research background of the water-solid interface, they analyzed and pointed out that the various problems and controversies faced by the institute mainly stem from the lack of experimental technology at the atomic level
The above-mentioned research work is supported by the National Key Research and Development Program, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Chinese Academy of Sciences' Strategic Leading Science and Technology Project, the Collaborative Innovation Center of Quantum Matter Science, and the Light Element Quantum Material Cross Platform of the Huairou Comprehensive National Science Center
As the most influential review journal in the field of surface science, "Surface Science Report" invites authoritative experts to introduce and comment on the important research directions and methods of surface science
