: The United States PPG Industrial Group recently announced that its
coatings
business unit launched PerformaLoc high-performance coatings have been successfully industrialized production. The resin volatile organic compound (VOC) content of the coating is low, crosslinking performance is good, curing speed is fast and the protective film formed is hard. With excellent light preservation, color preservation and excellent chemical resistance, salt resistance, moisture resistance, wear resistance and non-aging properties, the product extends recoating time and helps improve process efficiency for equipment manufacturers and component suppliers, increasing yields and reducing energy and labor costs.
PerformaLoc coatings are superior to other high-performance polyurethane coatings when used in the same time as polypropanol epoxy resins or polyurethane triggers. Because PerformaLoc coatings dry very quickly and form a hard, long-lasting protective layer, they are ideal for some equipment with poor heat resistance.
