    Prolonged sleep restriction seems to be common in the contemporary world


    Insufficient sleep can cause circadian rhythm disturbances and decreased alertness when awake, which is reflected in attention, cognitive efficiency and memory


    In this work, the researchers reported on a study conducted under natural conditions that included 13 healthy adults with insufficient sleep behavior, exercise, and neurophysiological factors for a total of 21 consecutive days


    During the whole experiment, spontaneous motor activity was continuously measured through a 1-minute resolution behavior map
