Phosphate compound fertilizer industry discusses green strategy

From April 26 to 27, the 24th National Phosphate and Compound Fertilizer Industry Annual Conference and the Seventh Second Council of China Phosphate and Compound Fertilizer Industry Association hosted by China Phosphate and Compound Fertilizer Industry Association were held in Jinan, Shandong Province.
The main line of this year’s annual meeting is "Green Leading Future Reform and Development", focusing on the current shortcomings of the phosphate and compound fertilizer industry in environmental protection and energy conservation, and discussing the industry’s deepening reform, transformation and upgrading, safety and environmental protection, energy conservation and consumption reduction, quality improvement, technological innovation, etc.
Hot topics, and set the tone for the green development of the industry.
Zhou Zhuye, vice chairman of the Federation and chairman of the Phosphorus Association, gave a keynote report entitled "In-depth implementation of green and sustainable development strategies, solid advancement of supply-side structural reforms, and efforts to create a new situation in the phosphate compound fertilizer industry".
The report stated that the overall operation of the phosphate and compound fertilizer industry was basically stable in 2016, and the quality of industry development has improved.
There are many major problems in the current industry.
The first is the increase in survival variables and the weak ability to deal with risks; the second is the overcapacity of basic fertilizers, but the high-end demand cannot be met; the third is the stricter environmental protection requirements, and the current industry is in the level of energy consumption and pollutants.
There are still problems in emissions and other aspects; the last is poor efficiency and insufficient innovation.
Zhang Fan, deputy director of the Petrochemical Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, pointed out that it is necessary to establish a comprehensive evaluation system and exit mechanism for backward production capacity as soon as possible, in which indicators such as energy consumption, pollutant emissions, and safe production are the benchmarks.
In response to the stricter environmental protection situation, Professor Zhong Benhe of the School of Chemical Engineering of Sichuan University pointed out that although the current economic situation is not very optimistic, strengthening environmental protection and reducing pollutant emissions are also thresholds that the phosphorus chemical industry must cross.
The improvement of environmental protection indicators will promote the improvement of the technical level of the phosphorus chemical industry, the realization of energy saving, emission reduction and clean production.
In the next few years, the country's environmental protection situation will become more and more severe, and the corresponding supervision will become more and more stringent.
Environmental protection and safety issues in the phosphate compound fertilizer industry have become the key to the survival of enterprises.
