According to a report by the Philippine Business Mirror on November 9, Philippine Deputy Minister of Agriculture Adriano stated that due to the four consecutive quarters of decline in the Philippine agricultural value-added, the Ministry of Agriculture has lowered its annual agricultural value-added target from 2%.
