[China Epoxy Network (China Epoxy Industry Online)October 22, 2014: The current chemical supply chain has problems such as asymmetric information between the supplier and the demander, and the irrationality of the supplier market.
With the continuous deepening of industry transformation and upgrading, the issue of optimizing the supply chain has increasingly attracted the attention of chemical companies.
At the 2014 China Top 100 Chemical Equipment Enterprise Conference held in Ningxia on October 17, this topic also attracted the attention of the participants.
They told a reporter from China Chemical Industry News that they should integrate and optimize the industry supply chain through the establishment of public service platforms and other methods, and strengthen the horizontal and vertical cooperation between enterprises.
Zhao Jungui, vice chairman and secretary-general of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, said that in recent years, the development of the chemical industry has driven the rapid growth of supporting supply companies.
In order to achieve industrial transformation and upgrading, in addition to its own efforts, there is an urgent need for companies that provide materials and equipment to unite.
In addition, the lack of rationality in the supply-side market also disrupted the entire supply chain.
Chemical equipment companies are the main suppliers in the chemical industry, and the current vicious price competition has made many chemical equipment companies miserable.
Many business executives said that due to the lack of unified standards and rules, some companies have adopted the method of winning the bid at the lowest price in the competition.
Although cutting corners, they can win the bid by price war, disrupting the normal market order.
Some business representatives said that optimizing the supply chain also requires peer companies, supply and demand companies to strengthen cooperation and give full play to the agglomeration effect, especially the leading companies should play a leading role.
Zhao Jungui pointed out that in the future, the Petrochemical Federation will promote the optimization of the supply chain in three aspects.
