PerkinElmer Accelerates Research with New NGS Library Prep Kits
PerkinElmer has released three new NGS library preparation kits (for research use only): NEXTFLEX® Small RNA-Seq Kit v4, NEXTFLEX® Rapid XP V2 DNA-Seq Kit , PG-Seq™ Rapid Kit v2 , These newly upgraded kits can greatly improve the convenience of operation and accelerate the scientific research process
.
The NEXTFLEX Small RNA Seq kit V4 library preparation kit starts with purified miRNA or as little as 1 ng of total RNA for gel purification-free library preparation and outstanding miRNA discovery rates
.
Optimized for ease of use, the kit is easy to automate on automated liquid handling platforms, even for challenging low input samples such as serum, since no gel purification steps are required
.
The kit yields small RNA libraries for sequencing within 6 hours and allows for pooling of 384 samples in a single run thanks to unique dual-index barcodes
.
NEXTFLEX Rapid XP V2 DNA-Seq Library Construction Kit contains NEXTFLEX® patented concentration-uniform magnetic bead technology, which can obtain consistent quality and sequencing cluster density for all DNA samples in the library pool without quantification and sample mixing operations.
96 samples can be shortened to up to 3 hours
.
PG-Seq Rapid Kit v2 can be used to analyze picogram-scale DNA (single/multiple cells or low template DNA) derived from embryonic slices for preimplantation genetics studies with higher genome-wide coverage and better accuracy
.
The kit allows simultaneous detection of 96 samples and contains all reagents required for cell lysis, whole genome amplification and indexing, as well as PG-Find™ analysis software for automatic recall of aneuploidy and copy number variation
.
Arvind Kothandaraman, general manager of PerkinElmer's Professional Diagnostics Division, said: "We have been working to remove bottlenecks in sample preparation that limit the speed of scientific discovery, and these new products bring us one step closer to solving today's most pressing NGS library preparation.
For various
library preparation applications, PerkinElmer can provide complete solutions, including nucleic acid extraction, automated NGS library construction workstations, single-cell RNA sequencing, library preparation reagents, and nucleic acid quality control
