News: Driven by the expansion of the tire market, the global
ntcolor'#0000FF> carbon black production capacity, production and demand showed a steady growth trend. The U.S. advisory body expects demand for carbon black to grow by 3.9% year-on-year by 2020. However, the growth of the global carbon black market is uneven, China is an important driving force, the United States is also in the midst of sustained prosperity, and some countries represented by Japan's carbon black demand and production decline. Carbon black is mainly used as a rubber enhancer for automobile tires and other manufacturing, in addition to pigments (ink, plastic,
coatings
used), dry battery conductive agents, catalyst carriers, super carbide materials. About 70% of the world's carbon black is used in tire manufacturing, 20% in other rubber, and less than 10% in plastic additives, dyes, printing inks and other industries. Statistics show that the global carbon black production in the Asia-Pacific region accounted for about 60% of the production; North America accounts for about 14 per cent; Russia and Eastern European countries account for about 9 per cent; Seven countries in Western Europe account for about 7 per cent; Central and South America account for about 6%; Africa and the Middle and Near East account for about 4 per cent. In terms of ranking, the world's top 10 carbon black producers are ranked as follows: China, the United States, Russia, India, Japan, South Korea, Brazil, Thailand, Germany and Italy. China's annual carbon black production exceeds 40% of the world's total production, followed by the United States, the world's second largest producer and consumer of carbon black.
