    Stress-related mental conditions, such as anxiety and depression, were already present in 30-40% of PwPDs prior to the pandemic, and socializing with others has been successfully shown to minimize the occurrence of negative emotional symptoms


    The importance of daily life, such as exercise, has also been demonstrated in reducing the development of motor symptoms in PwPD


    Treatment in healthcare facilities, routine care by physicians, and visits to physical, occupational and speech therapy have all been curtailed or modified due to social distancing requirements
