On May 17 , 2022 , " Journal of Medicinal Chemistry " , an authoritative journal of medicinal chemistry, published the latest research result " Discovery of Pentacyclic Triterpenoid PROTACs as a Class of Effective Hemagglutinin Protein Degraders " by Zhou Demin's team in our hospita.

The discovery of new antiviral drugs has been plagued by drug resistance caused by combination-induced mutations, and the development of antiviral drugs with diverse modes of action is the future research directi.

The PROTAC molecule constructed in this study retains the binding ability to hemagglutinin target protein and E3 ligase, respectively, and realizes the degradation of hemagglutinin at the molecular and cellular leve.
