According to the relevant provisions of the "Drug Administration Law", as well as the related review system and industry needs of pharmaceutical packaging materials and preparations, in accordance with the "Chinese Pharmacopoeia" pharmaceutical packaging material standard system planning and work plan, the State Pharmacopoeia Committee organized relevant units and experts to complete the pharmaceutical packaging material.

Compared with the original YBB standard, the standards for pharmaceutical packaging materials to be included in the 2025 edition of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia have undergone major changes from concept to conten.

Training content

This course covers all draft standards for pharmaceutical packaging materials that have been solicited online, mainly involving the general rules and supporting general testing methods of glass, rubber, and pre-potting materials or packaging systems, as well as the inspection rules for pharmaceutical packaging materials, and biological evaluatio.

This training invites the main authoring experts of the 2025 edition of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia to formulate and revise the standards for pharmaceutical packaging materials to give lecture.
