Notice of the Sichuan Provincial Market Supervision Authority on the Non-conformity of 23 Batches of Food (No. 40 of 2020)

Recently, the provincial market supervision and administration organization of food safety supervision sampling, extraction of edible oil, grease and its products, aquatic products, meat products, biscuits, condiments, pastries, vegetable products, food and beverage, beverages, soy products, alcohol, edible agricultural products and other 12 categories of food 1010 batches of samples, 23 batches of samples were found to be unqualified.
the main problems found in the inspection are the detection of prohibited agricultural and veterinary drugs exceeding the standard, the excessive use of food additives, microbial pollution, quality indicators are not up to standard, heavy metal pollution and so on.
To the non-conforming food found in the sampling, the Provincial Market Supervision Administration has tasked Chengdu, Zigong City, Deyang City, Mianyang City, Guangyuan City, Suining City, Neijiang City, Leshan City, Dazhou City, Ba Zhong City, Ya'an City, Meishan City, Ziyang City, Aba State, Ganzi State Market Supervision and Administration immediately organized verification and disposal, urged food production enterprises to find out the flow of products, take off-shelf recall of unqualified products and other measures to control risks;
