In May 2020, guangdong provincial market regulators at all levels completed a total of 52004 batches of food (including health food and food additives) sample supervision sampling, qualified 50,624 batches, unqualified 1380 batches, the overall pass rate of 97.35 percent, the failure rate of 2.65 percent, an increase of 0.64 percentage points over the same period in 2019.
