    Recently, the China Food Industry Association plans to organize the formulation of the group standard of "vegetarian oyster sauce", and the project is described as follows:
     
    Oyster sauce products because of their delicious, nutritious and easy to use characteristics, in recent years with the improvement of China's consumer demand, the sustainable development of the economy, widely used nationwide, has developed into compound seasoning products in the forefront of sales, one of the most representative categories, widely loved by consumers
    .
     
    In recent years, with the continuous progress of society, consumers' pursuit of delicious food and the extensive exchange of food seasoning culture around the world, the condiment "vegetarian oyster sauce", which is widely produced and used in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and other regions in China, has been sold in mainland China and is loved by consumers
    .
    The product is a compound seasoning product
    with similar oyster sauce structure, flavor and form made by using plant raw materials (such as soybeans, shiitake mushrooms, etc.
    ) or their processed products as raw materials instead of oyster juice, adding or not adding other auxiliary materials.
     
    Vegetarian oyster sauce products are produced and sold in well-known condiment enterprises in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, including Jinlan, Wanjiaxiang and Black Dragon in Taiwan; Lee Kum Kee in Hong Kong, etc
    .
    In recent years, some condiment enterprises in mainland China have also begun to produce extensively, and the products are produced in Guangdong, Shandong and other places

    The birth of this product, the rapid development after being recognized by the market and then widely sold, shows that this type of product can fully meet the requirements of consumers for the quality characteristics of oyster sauce, and at the same time can also meet the needs of more and more consumers for vegetarian food, which is the embodiment
    of the inevitable result of the rapid development of compound seasoning products and market economy.
     
    Vegetarian food has been very popular at home and abroad in recent years, and China has also begun to establish related supporting facilities in terms of standards, for example, in the past two years, some groups in China have promoted the sustainable and healthy development
    of the industry by formulating group standards for plant-based meat products (vegetarian meat).
    As a similar emerging product, vegetarian oyster sauce products have developed rapidly in China in recent years and have extensive market prospects, but there are currently no relevant national standards, industry standards or group standards
    in China.
    Due to the lack of standards, there are some problems such as inconsistent names and uneven product quality of vegetarian oyster sauce products produced on the market, which are extremely unfavorable
    to the future development of vegetarian oyster sauce products.
    In order to meet market demand and protect consumer rights and interests, ensure that vegetarian oyster sauce products have standards to follow, standardize and promote the healthy, orderly, sustainable and high-quality development of vegetarian oyster sauce products, it is urgent to formulate the group standard
    of "vegetarian oyster sauce".
