From SeafoodMedia on December 15, the head of the Norwegian Seafood Agency in Spain,Bjørn-Erik Stabell, said that consumers in Spain and other countries are increasingly demanding sustainable food production methods, and they find Norwegian seafood to be safe in this regard

Despite a 9% contraction in the Spanish consumer market, Norwegian seafood exports to Spain reached an all-time high

Quality, food safety, animal welfare and sustainability are the "successful" axes of Norwegian food marketing, such as Norwegian salmon, whose sales prices increased by 24%
between January and November.

So far this year, Norway has exported 676 million euros worth of seafood to Spain, a figure higher than 545 million euros in the same period last year and 478 million euros
in 2020.
