Recently, the Norwegian cod farming company Gadus Group announced the harvest of its first finished fish, with an average weight of 4.

The company aims to supply 80 million cod products worldwide by 2025 and invest an additional NOK 1 billion in several new cod farms, covering the entire value chain

In June, Gadus Group and Babord, another Norwegian seafood company, jointly invested in the construction of a new processing plant on the west coast of Norway with a total investment of NOK 200 million (US$21.
1 million), using fully automated processing and refrigerated storage technology to process 45,000 tons of farmed real cod per year, creating 50 jobs
for the local community.
