8-11, 2019, the Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Nutrition (NUTRITION 2019) is held in Baltimore, USA. The theme of the conference is "The Place where the scientific and health elites gather" and the concept and spirit of "Communication leads the development of life and health science". Covering a wide range of nutrition-related fields, the conference attracted more than 3,000 experts and scholars from all over the world, and more than 120 experts and scholars from the Chinese nutrition community attended.
The
Chinese Nutrition Society was invited to continue to co-host the China Conference with the Chinese Nutrition Society of North America (Chinese Nutrition Society Partner Session: China International Forum). The theme of the conference was Nutrition and Health: Current Challenges and Solutions. The meeting was chaired by Professors Zhao Ling and Tang Minghua of the North American Chinese Nutrition Society, and was welcomed by John Courtney, CEO of the American Nutrition Society, and Professor Wang Wei, President of the North American Chinese Nutrition Society.
Vice Chairman of the International Exchange Committee of the Chinese Nutrition Society, Professor Ling Wenhua of Sun Yat-sen University participated in the discussion
The meeting exchanged a total of 7 academic reports, among which, Professor Ling Wenhua, Vice Chairman of the International Exchange Committee of the Chinese Nutrition Society and Professor Ling Wenhua of Zhongshan University, reported on the systematic research of his research team on phytochemicals for many years. Professor Zhou Jinrong from Harvard University, Professor David B Allison of Indiana University School of Public Health, Professor Shi Hanping of Century Temple Hospital, affiliated with Capital Medical University, Professor Wang Wei of Texas Tech University, and Dr. Lin Dingbo of Oklahoma State University, USA, gave wonderful reports. Representatives of the Chinese Nutrition Society, who attended the meeting, also included Vice President Professor Chang Cuiqing, Honorary Director Professor Su Yixiang and Executive Director Professor Wang Shixuan.
During the conference, representatives of the Chinese Nutrition Society also held talks with representatives of the American Nutrition Society, including international conference cooperation and talent exchange
, which laid the foundation for further strategic cooperation between the two societies..
