On June 10, 2020, the New Zealand Food Safety Authority (NZFSA) issued a recall notice that Simplot New Zealand Ltd is recalling a specific batch of Picken Tonight flavorings because they contain undeclared allergens (peanuts).
recalled products are as follows: The recalled product is named Picken Tonight Brand Cashew Satay Cooking Sauce; weighs 500g; batch 1926001338; and has a shelf life of November 1, 2020.
products are sold at New World and Pak'n Save stores on New Zealand's South Island.
New Zealand Food Safety Authority advised consumers allergic to peanuts not to consume the above products and to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
