Yang Yuexin introduced that the new version of the Dietary Guidelines has extracted eight principles for a balanced diet: first, a variety of foods and a reasonable mix; second, a balanced diet and a healthy weight; third, eat more fruits and vegetables, dairy, whole grains, and soybeans; fourth, eat fish in moderation , poultry, eggs, lean meat; fifth, less salt and less oil, sugar control and alcohol limit; sixth, eat regularly and drink enough water; seventh, know how to cook and choose, and read labels
The Dietary Guidelines for Chinese Residents (2022) is the core opinion and scientific consensus of nearly 100 experts on nutrition and dietary issues, and will provide all nutrition and health educators and health communicators with the latest and most authoritative scientific evidence and resources
It is reported that the Chinese Society of Nutrition will release the core information of the new version of the guidelines through platforms such as the official website and the official WeChat account, and will further interpret the guidelines based on opportunities such as this year's National Nutrition Week
