The "Draft of Opinions" clearly stated that continuing education for pharmacy professionals is divided into public-needed subjects and professional subjects

At the same time, the time for the pharmacy professional and technical personnel to participate in continuing education should be no less than 90 hours per year, 1 credit for every 3 hours, and no less than 30 credits accumulated each year

As for the credit award criteria and calculation methods, the "Draft Opinions" talked about 8 ways to obtain them

First, to participate in the training course, participants who pass the assessment will be awarded 1 credit for 3 hours, 40-45 minutes per class hour; the speaker will be awarded 2 credits per class hour

Second, to participate in academic qualifications, degree education or course further studies, and those who pass the examination will be recognized as 15 hours per course

Third, participate in continuing education practice, and grant continuing education credits to the corresponding pharmacy professional and technical personnel according to the content and duration of the education practice

Fourth, to participate in distance education, participants who have passed the assessment will be awarded 1 credit every 3 hours according to the number of hours of the courseware, and each class hour shall not be less than 40-45 minutes

Not to participate in continuing education, not to register

According to the "Methods", licensed pharmacists should participate in no less than 90 hours of continuing education and training each year, with 1 credit for every 3 hours, and no less than 30 credits accumulated each year

According to the "Measures", applicants need to submit 5 materials such as continuing education credit certificates to apply for the first registration

For those who apply for registration other than the year when the certificate is obtained, the certificate of continuing education credits for the second year after the approval of the "Professional Qualification Certificate for Practicing Pharmacist" shall be provided

According to the latest news from the Licensed Pharmacist Qualification Certification Center of the State Food and Drug Administration, as of the end of May 2021, the cumulative number of licensed pharmacists nationwide during the validity period was 622,602

According to the requirements of the "Measures", the registration of licensed pharmacists is valid for five years.
For these 620,000 people, as long as the registration changes and renewal are involved, certificates of continuing education must also be provided

Posting documents in many places, continuing education must implement new regulations
