The problem of the aging of the global population is becoming more and more serious
On August 10, 2022, the research group of Academician Lu Lin, Dean of the Sixth Hospital of Peking University, published a research paper entitled "Leisure Activities and the Risk of Dementia: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis" in Neurology [1].

The researchers systematically searched databases such as Cochrane, PubMed, Embase and Web of Science, and collected 38 longitudinal studies related to leisure activities and dementia.
A total of more than 2 million subjects were included in the baseline period of this study.
The results of subgroup analysis suggest that different types of leisure activities have different effects on different dementias
