Science and Technology Daily (Reporter Zhang Ye) The change of the genome level is an important initiating factor for tumor occurrence and development.
Studies have found that most of the changes in tumors at the genomic level occur in non-coding DNA
In order to solve this difficulty, the undergraduate team of Nantong University School of Medicine has independently developed an efficient DNA regulatory element and ultra-high-efficiency DNA regulatory element by analyzing and integrating the ATAC sequencing data, gene expression data and clinical data of tumor patients from 404 patients with 23 types of tumors.
The SPACE platform is not only helpful for discovering new DNA regulatory elements and analyzing a variety of downstream regulatory mechanisms, but also helpful for elucidating the functions of important non-coding DNA and the molecular mechanism of tumor regulation, providing a deeper understanding of the precise regulation of genes and tumors.
