[China Epoxy Resin Industry Online] News on October 27, 2005: Recently, the Nanjing Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau was indeed allowed to be the first batch in the city in accordance with the National Waste Pollution Prevention and Control Law and the Management Measures for Hazardous Waste Business Permits.
A total of 22 units engaged in hazardous waste collection, storage, disposal, and utilization activities in the country were shortlisted.
According to the China Epoxy Industry Association (style="vertical-align: inherit;"> ), the designated processing unit for scrap epoxy copper clad laminates and printed circuit boards is the Huaipu Printed Board Disposal Plant in Liuhe District, Nanjing.
In the future, all units engaged in hazardous waste collection in Nanjing will implement a hazardous waste business permit system.
It is understood that with the sustained and rapid development of Nanjing’s industry in recent years, the amount of toxic and hazardous waste produced has also continued to rise.
The annual production of hazardous waste can reach 100,000 tons.
The pollution hazards and environmental risks have not been fundamentally eliminated, resulting in a considerable amount.

The hazardous waste cannot find a safe “home”, posing a threat to Nanjing’s ecological environment.
