According to customs data, my country imported 15,738 tons of acetone in May, an increase of 2,468 tons over the same period last year and an increase of 826 tons over April.
Since last year, the import scale of acetone has been on the rise.
According to the China Epoxy Resin Industry Association ( www.

cn ), one of the main domestic uses of acetone is as a raw material for epoxy resin bisphenol A.
As the current production capacity of Bluestar New Materials Wuxi Resin Plant ( www.
wxszc.
com ) has increased from 40,000 tons/over (80% of the domestic market), the demand for acetone has increased greatly.

Among the imports of acetone in May, general trade accounted for 72.

14% of the market share, with imports of 9135 tons; border small trade imports amounted to 1849 tons, accounting for 11.
