The Ministry of Ecology and Environment announced that the second batch of central ecological and environmental protection inspections in 10 provinces "looked back" and entered the sinking inspection stage.
As the evening of November 16, a total of Inspectorate inspectors to be assigned by a transfer to an effective area reported 14,262 ; area has been completed by an inspector to investigate 4124 , interviewed 416 people , accountability 404 people .

second batch of central ecological and environmental protection inspectors "looked back" and the five inspection teams successively conducted investigations on Shanxi, Liaoning, Jilin, Anhui, Shandong, Hubei, Hunan, and Hunan from October 30 to November 6.
Ten provinces including Sichuan, Guizhou, and Shaanxi implemented inspections.
As of November 16, all five inspection teams have entered the sinking inspection stage.
It is reported that during the submerged inspection stage, each inspection team, by going deep into the grassroots, the front line, and the scene, focusing on the key points of inspection, resolutely investigate and deal with the formalism and bureaucracy problems that exist in the inspection rectification such as perfunctory rectification, surface rectification, pretend rectification and "one size fits all" .
At the same time, each inspection team promptly transferred to supervise the people's ecological environment reports, and spot checks to verify the handling of the inspected places.
As of the evening of November 16, the inspection team had received a total of 18,180 reports from the masses.
After sorting out and combining repeated reports, a total of 14262 effective reports were transferred to the inspected area.
4,124 cases have been investigated and prosecuted in the inspected areas , of which 608 cases were filed and punished with a fine of 33.
