World Agrochemical Network Chinese reported: Recently, a report from Mexico pointed out that so far, the country's imports of glyphosate preparations have dropped from 16,526 tons in 2021 to 8,263 tons
in 2022.

in 2022.

Thus, the country's Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources stated that "the quota for the import of glyphosate issued by Mexico's National Council for Science and Technology (Conacyt) has been reduced by 50%

reduction compared to the recommended number in 2021," the report states.
And this global volume is divided into different grades of 486 tons of glyphosate preparations and 39 tons of glyphosate original drugs, but only for companies
that meet the same criteria for equal distribution in 2021.

In August 2022, the company received the first five applications for glyphosate import permits for the year, one for glyphosate raw drugs and the remaining four for glyphosate preparations

As of 31 August 2022, three authorizations have been issued for formulated glyphosate, totalling 1,414 tonnes, equivalent to 17.

It should also be emphasized that Cofepris, which grants pesticide hygiene clearance, reported that there are 1,364 records, of which 785 are uncertain in validity, and 166 are related to pesticides containing glyphosate in the formulation of the formulation, 67 are original drugs and 99 are formulations, with varying

The report notes that as of 2022, 34 permits have been requested, seven of which were rejected
due to non-compliance.
