in Southeast Asia, the fruits, flowers and leaves of the Indonesian "Melinjo" tree are traditional foods Researchers from Kumamoto University in Japan conducted useful medical studies of plants around the world and found that Melinjo Seed Extract (MSE) stimulates the production of lipolyin, a hormone that helps improve obesity and diabetes They also found that differences in individual genotype were the reason for their efficacy differences. Melinjo fruits have high antioxidant and antibacterial properties and are known to contain high levels of polyphenols One such compound, resveratrol, has been shown to induce lipolygen and may improve lifestyle-related diseases, such as metabolic syndrome Gnetin C is a resveratrol that is abundant in MSE and is known to have higher antioxidant activity and stay in the body longer than resveratrol However, the detailed mechanismby by which these compounds perform their biological activity remains unknown. Kumamoto University's Global Natural Resources Science Center isolates and identifies and evaluates the pharmacological activity of useful plants and natural products from around the world In the center, Dr Kentaro Oniki's team used genetic analysis to find that differences in the type of DbA-L (disulfur-A redox-like protein) affected the activation of lipoproteins In other words, DbA-L induction promotes lipolyinine and improves lifestyle-related diseases In their recent work, they tried to determine whether 1)MSE enhanced the functionality of DbA-L; 2) whether MSE promotes lipoprotein activation; 3) Whether MSE has a therapeutic effect on obesity and diabetes. In their first study (double-blind, placebo-controlled, randomized control), there were 42 healthy adult males taking oral MSE supplements for 14 days They found that taking 300 milligrams of MSE a day activates lipolycoin in men They also found that the effect varied depending on the type of DbA-L gene (G/G, G/T, T/T) that an individual had The MSE effect was greater in carriers of G/T or T/T genotypes that assumed low levels of gene expression. Based on the results of clinical trials, another researcher at the center, Dr Tuyohi Shuto, and his team tested the compound in a high-fat diet mouse model of diabetic diabetes By measuring the effect of MSE on DbA-L expression and blood lipoprotein concentrations in various tissues, they found that oral MSE for more than four weeks a day increased the amount of DbA-L expression and activated lipoproteins in the body Diabetes pathology in muscle tissue has also improved Symptoms such as increased fat build-up and elevated fasting blood sugar levels were significantly improved. These studies suggest that MSE promotes DbA-L expression, increases the amount of activated lipoprotein, and may improve obesity and diabetes symptoms in organisms, especially mice 0
