Maintenance of the condenser of the four major components of the industrial chiller: If the condenser is used for a long time, thick dirt will adhere to the heat transfer surface of the condenser
    .

The heat transfer performance of the dirt is extremely low, which causes the resistance of the refrigerant vapor to pass through the heat transfer wall of the condenser to dissipate heat outward, thus increasing the condensation temperature of the refrigerant
    .

Therefore, frequent maintenance work to descale the condenser is required
    .

Below, a brief introduction to the method of condenser dirt removal
    .

    1.
The method of removing dust from the air-cooled condenser The air-cooled condenser uses air as the cooling medium, and the air in the environment always contains dust.
If the condenser is used for a long time, a layer of dust will accumulate on the heat transfer surface.
, so that the heat transfer tubes and fins of the condenser cannot exchange heat well with the outside cooling air
    .

We should periodically blow out these dusts with compressed air
    .

       2.
The method of removing the dirt of the water-cooled condenser The cooling water used in the water-cooled condenser contains impurities.
After a long time, they will precipitate in the cooling pipe, stick to scale, hinder the circulation of cooling water, and deteriorate heat transfer, making refrigeration The condensing temperature of the agent increases
    .

For this reason, the scale should be removed regularly (usually once every 2 to 3 years.
If the cooling water is deep well water or mountain water, it should be once a year)
    .

Remove the cast iron cover (water cover) at both ends of the shell and tube condenser, use a spiral wire brush to extend into the cooling pipe and pull the brush back and forth, and then use a round steel rod close to the inner diameter of the pipe to insert it into the cooling pipe and pull it repeatedly.
, rinse with pressure water while poke
    .

This descaling method is simple and easy, but labor-intensive
    .

       (2) Roll scraping with a special scraper
    .

Remove the water caps at both ends of the shell-and-tube condenser, connect it to the flexible shaft with a special scraper, and connect the other end of the flexible shaft to the motor shaft, insert the scraper into the cooling pipe, and start the motor to scrape
    .

It also sprays water to cool the scraper and rinse the scale scraped off the pipe
    .

This method works well, but only for steel cooling tubes, not copper ones
    .

       (3) Hydrochloric acid dissolution method
    .

The equipment required for the hydrochloric acid dissolution method is an acid-resistant pump and an acid-resistant tank, and the process is shown in Figure 5-8
    .

The operation steps are as follows: ① Pump out all the refrigerant in the industrial chiller system, or pump it to the liquid storage tank
    .

②Close the inlet valve of the condenser, and remove the inlet and outlet pipes of the condenser
    .

③Connect the inlet and outlet water joints of the condenser to the pickling system with water pipes of the same diameter
    .

After descaling by the above method, a pressure leak test should be performed on the refrigerant side of the condenser to check whether the cooling pipe is damaged and leaks during the descaling process
    .

After the leak detection is completed, according to the original system connection, vacuuming and trial operation are carried out
    .

It should also be noted that the waste liquid of hydrochloric acid solution (or descaling solution) must be discharged to the sewer, and must not be discharged into the septic tank, nor can it be scattered on the grass or crops, because these solutions are harmful to plant growth
    .

       3.
Cleaning method for cooling towers and evaporative condensers: First, calculate the actual water storage volume of the cooling water system (water storage, water tank, water pipe, etc.
), and prepare the required quantity of cleaning chemicals
    .

Then carry out the following operations: ①Drain the water storage tank and thoroughly rinse or manually clean it to remove all sludge and dirt
    .

②Close the discharge pipeline, and at the same time let the circulating water pump work, so that the water storage tank is filled with clean water to the water level
    .

③ While circulating the water, slowly start adding the prepared quantitative cleaning chemicals, most of which are added from the water storage tank
    .

④ Refill the system with clean water
    .

This treatment is carried out on a regular basis every year.
