February 1, the reporter learned that the specialty chemicals company LANSENSE will participate in this year's adhesive seminar in Munich, and expert presentations. Ronald M. Emanuel, Jr., Senior Research and Development Scientist for Global Research and Development of Adhesives, LANXESS Polyurethane Systems, will talk about "unique hot melts with high-performance low monomer polyurethane pre-polyurethanes" on February 26, 2019.
conference will present the latest developments and current trends in innovation, adhesives and their applications in various industrial sectors, as well as solutions, developments and outcomes in key areas such as automotive and aerospace, lightweight, electronics and medicine .
scientific introduction to prepolymers with a free isocyanate content of less than 0.10 wt%
. Low free prepolymers provide unparalleled industrial hygiene and meet increasingly stringent regulatory requirements
. Excellent technical performance, processing and production capacity that can be customized to customer needs
Lansheng is an innovative leader in the development of low-free isocyanate (LF) technology, which is sold under the Adiprene LF brand. Based on this technology, LANXESS polyurethane systems have developed unique pre-polymers with free MDI (MDYL) and other isocyanates containing less than 0.10% for use in hot melts in the automotive, construction and electronics industries. This low monosome technology offers superior technical performance, processing performance and productivity, as well as environmental, health and safety benefits.
Emanuel explains: "Our development efforts have focused on expanding the range of pre-polymers with very low levels of free isocyanate, which is a key lever for improving industrial hygiene and worker safety. "Low monomer polyurethane pre-polymers are particularly suitable for handling end products with increasingly stringent regulations and lower manufacturing hazard levels. In addition, they avoid any toxicity classification.
's low monosome technology can be adapted to the customer's needs in terms of NCO content, viscosity and performance. Pre-polymers can be used in all isocyanate and polyol chemicals, including special isocyanates such as IPDI (isofone diocyanate), HDI (hemethyl diocyanate) and pPDI (isocyanate). The latter has excellent solvent resistance and excellent high temperature performance. It also includes polyols such as polyethers, polyesters, polythyroids and polycarbonates.
