The EL2904 TwinSAFE component is a digital output terminal
with four channels.
It switches 24 V DC actuators up to 0.
5 A per channel and has four fail-safe outputs
.
The output is controlled
by a component with TwinSAFE logic via FSoE.
If an error is detected (failure stop), the component shuts down
automatically.
The EL2904 has safety parameters that allow functions to be specially adapted to the respective safety requirements
.
For example, current measurement and output test at the output can be configured to be able to detect cross-circuits and react
appropriately.
In addition, standard output
can be activated for the EL2904.
