    9 (Yonhap) -- The number of coffee and beverage stores in South Korea has increased in recent years, approaching 100,000 last year, more than
    doubling in just four years.
    With increasing coffee consumption, coffee imports exceeded $1 billion
    for the first time last year.
     
    According to statistics released by the Korea Agricultural and Fishery Food Distribution Corporation on the 9th, as of the end of 2022, the number of coffee and beverage shops increased by 17.
