Kazakhstan News Agency/Astana/December 22 – In the first 10 months of 2022, Kazakhstan produced a total of 75,700 tons of chocolate and confectionery products, an increase of 7.
2%
compared to the same period last year.

According to data released by the National Statistics Service of Kazakhstan, a total of 93,400 tons
of chocolate and confectionery products were imported during the reporting period.

This represents an increase of 9.
1%
over the same period last year.

The share of imported chocolate and confectionery products on the Kazakh market is 55.
2%.

Statistics for the first 10 months show that a total of 140,200 tons of chocolate and confectionery products
were sold in the domestic market.

During the reporting period, Kazakhstan exported a total of 28,900 tons
of chocolate and confectionery products.
