On August 19, the General Office of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and the General Office of the Provincial Government issued the "Implementation Opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening the Work Safety of Hazardous Chemicals.

The opinions also clarified the responsibilities of various localities and departments, requiring the Provincial Public Security Department to include major risks related to terrorism, explosions, and hazardous chemicals into the scope of national security control.
