    Heartvasculardisease is a serious complication of granulated polyvastovassis (GPA)The study analyzed the trend of coronary artery disease (CAD) and its two serious manifestations, acutemyocardial infarction(AMI) and heart failure (HF), in a sample of GPA inpatientsresearchers conducted a retrospective cross-sectional analysis using a sample of national inpatientsThe sample included GPA patients who were hospitalized between 2005 and 2014The trend of CAD, AMI and HF ratio of all GPA inpatients was analyzed compared with patients without GPAThe use adjusts the logistic regression of potential confounding factors and includes interactionsof 103,453 GPA hospitalizations, 20,351 (19.7%) were diagnosed withat the same time
    CADCompared to non-GPA patients with CAD, the overall burden of traditional cardiovascular risk factors was lower in patients with CAD, with the exception of chronic kidney disease (57% vs 21%)During the 10-year study period, CAD (from 16.6% in 2005 to 22.7% in 2014) and COHF (from 4.31% in 2005 to 9.88% in 2014) showed an upward trend in hospital burden, but DID NOT increase (from 1.17% in 2005 to 1.111% in 2014) compared to non-GPAstudy found that cad and COP CAD burdens in this national GPA inpatient sample increased over a 10-year period compared to non-GPA patients, but AMI did not increase
