The study aims to determine the prevalence of hearing loss (HL) in patients with strong spinal itisen (AS) and to describe changes in frequency-specific hearing thresholds in non-AS patientsresearchers conducted a systematic evaluation of four databases (PubMed, Ovid MEDLINE, SCOPUS, Cochrane) to find and evaluate AS patients in HLA meta-analysis was conducted to determine the overall prevalence and risk ratio (OR) of HL and to compare the average difference softened between frequency-specific hearing thresholds in AS patients and non-AS patientsthis meta-analysis included 14 studies and 1,083 patients (598 AS patients and 485 non-AS patients)The total hl prevalence rate in AS patients was 42.4% (95% CI 29.2-56.2%)THE OR IN AS PATIENTS WITH HL WAS SIGNIFICANTLY HIGHER THAN IN NON-AS PATIENTS (OR 4.65, 95% CI 2.73-7.91)The average difference range of frequency 0.25-4kHz pure sound hearing threshold is 0-5 dB (dB) and the frequency 6-16kHz range is 5-15 dBAS patients are more likely to develop HL than non-AS patientsThe population also significantly impaired the hearing threshold at all regular and extended audio-only ratesIt manifests itself as light to moderate hearing lossThe results of this systematic evaluation justify edging more attention to hearing performance in AS patients
