: Medline Ovid, Embase Ovid, and Web of Science.
As a result, of the 148 potentially relevant studies, 13 articles met the inclusion criteria for systematic review, and of these 13 articles, 9 studies were included in the meta-analysis

Taken together, the findings suggest that NSAIDs generally have a better advantage over post-surgical dental pain and better adverse effects, so the need for oxycodone in dentistry is limited
