After pylorus-preserving pancreaticoduodenectomy (PPPD), incisions and sutures of the abdominal muscles can cause inflammatory changes, cause physical pain, and reduce the patient's quality of life.
From June 2018 to January 2019, the researchers randomly assigned 44 patients receiving PPPD to the control group and the NETOIMS group.
Among the 44 patients recruited, the data of 38 patients were finally analyzed.
