On April 13, 2021, the Israeli Ministry of Health issued a provisional regulation No.
5722-2022 on the issuance of specific sensitive food release certificates related to the Public Food Safety Protection Regulations , which will take effect immediately .
The main contents include: (1) A catalogue of specific sensitive foods has been set, including eggs and their products, honey and its products, products containing gelatin or collagen, foods with pH < 5.
4, cold chain foods below 8°C, mushroom products, 9 categories of food containing microorganisms, packaged drinking water, mineral water, and food coloring; (2) During the temporary period stipulated by the regulations to April 24, the distribution of the above-mentioned specific sensitive food can be exempted from Article 86 of the Public Food Safety Protection Regulations A, and issue a release certificate online within one working day after the application.
When the online system fails, the certificate will be issued as soon as possible .
