Iran's exports of pistachios to the EU fell by 26% year-on-year

The Financial Tribune reported on September 10 that according to EU statistics, in the first half of 2022, Iran's exports of pistachios to the EU were 78.
6 million euros, a year-on-year decrease of 26%.
Among them, the export value of shelled pistachios was 31.
6 million US dollars, a decrease of 53% year-on-year, and the export value of hulled pistachios was 47 million US dollars, an increase of 23%
year-on-year.
Germany and Italy are the top two export destinations
for Iranian pistachios among EU member states.
Iran is also the second largest source of pistachio imports in the European Union after the
United States.
