Iran’s "Financial Tribune" reported on November 29 that the Iranian Ministry of Agriculture recently issued an order to its subsidiaries, the Ministry of Industry and Economics, and the Planning and Budget Organization to announce the end of the ban on the export of light and heavy livestock , but the upper limit and type of livestock must be determined.
So as not to disrupt the domestic market
.
According to the new directive, light livestock weighing more than 55 kg and heavy livestock weighing more than 750 kg are eligible for export
.
According to the latest report from the Iranian Statistics Center, the official slaughterhouse currently produces 52,000 tons of red meat, an increase of 33% year-on-year.
However, due to the increase in prices, the demand for red meat has dropped by 25% to 30% compared with the previous year
.
Officials of the Iranian Animal Husbandry Association believe that the shortage of feed and poor distribution management will lead to a decline in supply and a sharp increase in prices for a period of time in the future
