Professor Shen Qunhong said in the theme lecture: Development is the first priority, talent is the first resource, and innovation is the first driving force! In the pharmacy industry, focusing on the urgent need for professional and technical talents for middle and senior level, the requirement is to promote the training of pharmacy talents.

To establish a people-centered integrated, coordinated, and continuous health service system requires the cooperation of tertiary medical institutions and primary medical institutions such as medical consortia, which greatly increases the scarcity of our pharmacist team.
By 2020, the number of pharmacists should reach 850,000.

With regard to the training strategy for the shortage of pharmacy talents in medical institutions in the future, Professor Shen Qunhong puts forward two suggestions: First, strengthen the grassroots.
Fully implement the rational drug use policy, implement the pharmaceutical service standards, rely on the training of scarce talents and clinical pharmacist training programs, and expand the participation opportunities of primary medical institutions.
