Similarly, when used in specific polyurethane systems, it can also improve soft touch.The ACEMATT ®3400 can be easily added to the formulation without the need for high shear force or the use of bead mills. (1) gas phase process - high de-light efficiency, high transparency
Silicon dioxide anti-light powder basic manufacturing processes are two: wet process and gas phase process. Wet process can be divided into gel process and precipitation method. ACEMATT®TS 100 has been successfully developed by ACEMATT®3400 due to its coarse particle size and unsyswered surface treatment, which are often challenged in the sense of feel, suspension properties and use in some applications with thin coatings.
ACEMATT®3400 surfaces are treated with special organic polymers (PDMS-polydymethane derivatives), making the coating surface very smooth and significantly improving scratch resistance on the coating surface. At the same time, the special PDMS surface treatment improves the compatibness with the system, the subsidion problem is improved, and the suspension performance is greatly improved. In addition, the surface treatment provides a special soft feel, coupled with the adjustment and optimization of particle size, making it ideal for applications that require a delicate feel or a thin coating.

below is a test of soft touch in a 2K PU system. 10 for a very good soft touch, 0 for no soft touch. After dozens of testers' touch experience of the actual model, ACEMATT ®3400 showed good soft touch.

flowology, usually in water-based coating systems, silicon dioxide anti-lighting powder absorbs the adhesive thickeners in the system (the unshielded silane alcohol group on the surface of the light-killing powder is the cause of strong interaction between silicon dioxide and polyurethane thickeners in the water-based system), thus reducing the consistency of the component thickeners.
