Information Circular on Food Safety Supervision and Sampling of Zhejiang Market Supervision Administration (No. 8 of 2020)

Recently, the Zhejiang Provincial Market Supervision and Administration bureau organized sampling of 807 batches of 11 food products, including grain processing products, meat products, starch and starch products, dairy products, soy products, cooking oil, oils and their products, aquatic products, confectionery products, infant formula, edible agricultural products and salt.
In accordance with the national standards for food safety inspection and determination, including sampling and inspection items qualified samples 793 batches, non-conforming samples 14 batches (see annex), the detection of food additives over-range over-limit use, veterinary drug residues, microbial contamination, other pollutants, quality indicators.

the non-conforming products found in the sampling, the Zhejiang Provincial Market Supervision Bureau has tasked the relevant municipal market regulatory authorities to investigate and punish them in accordance with the law.
requires Ningbo, Wenzhou, Jiaxing, Zhangzhou, Taizhou City market regulatory authorities to urge food production enterprises to find out the flow of products, recall unqualified products, analysis of the reasons for rectification; Measures such as racks to control risks, require Hangzhou, Ningbo, Huzhou and other municipal market supervision and administration to order the opening of centralized trading markets for edible agricultural products to find out the purchase channels, origin and other information and report to the relevant departments, require the sellers of edible agricultural products to immediately take measures such as stopping sales of non-conforming products to control the risk.
