Information Circular on Food Safety Supervision and Sampling of Zhejiang Market Supervision Administration (No. 46 of 2020)

Recently, the Zhejiang Provincial Market Supervision and Administration Bureau organized sampling of grain processing products, cooking oils, oils and fats and their products, condiments, meat products, beverages, convenience foods, biscuits, canned goods, frozen foods, potatoes and puffed foods, confectionery products, tea and related products, alcohol 1045 batches of samples of 24 categories of food, such as vegetable products, fruit products, fried food and nut products, egg products, aquatic products, starch and starch products, pastries, soy products, food and beverage products, food additives, edible agricultural products, etc.
In accordance with the national standards for food safety inspection and determination: sampling inspection qualified 1022 batches, unqualified 23 batches (see annex), non-conforming items related to agricultural and veterinary drug residues exceeding the standard, microbial pollution, quality indicators are not up to standard, food additives exceeding the standard, heavy metal pollution, biotoxin exceeding the standard.
