Information Circular on Food Safety Supervision and Sampling by the Zhejiang Market Supervision Administration (No. 38 of 2020)

Recently, the Zhejiang Provincial Market Supervision and Administration Bureau organized sampling of grain processing products, condiments, meat products, beverages, biscuits, canned, frozen drinks, frozen food, potato and puffed food, tea and related products, alcohol, vegetable products, fruit products, fried food and nut products, sugar, aquatic products, starch and starch products, pastries, soy products, bee products, food additives, edible agricultural products and other 22 food 499 samples.
In accordance with the national standards for food safety inspection and determination: sampling inspection qualified 490 batches, unqualified 9 batches (see annex), non-conforming items related to microbial pollution, agricultural and veterinary drug residues exceeded the standard, food additives exceeded the standard, quality indicators are not up to standard.

3. Food additives exceeded the standard (1) Wenzhou Modern Farmers Market Chen Xingping condiment shop sales of the label Lishui City Outshan Agricultural Products Development Co., Ltd. production of yellow cauliflower (salt water), benzoic acid and its sodium salts do not meet the national standards for food safety.

Lishui Outshan Agricultural Products Development Co., Ltd. objected to the inspection results and applied for a re-inspection;
(2) Zhoushan Heyuan Wine Co., Ltd. produced Zhoushan old wine, sweetin does not meet the national standards for food safety.
inspection institutions for Shaoxing City Food and Drug Inspection Research Institute (National Yellow Wine Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center).
Heyuan Liquor Co., Ltd. of Zhejiang Province objected to the inspection results and applied for a re-inspection, and the Zhejiang Institute of Inspection, Quarantine, Science and Technology maintained the preliminary inspection conclusions after the re-inspection.

the sampling found in the non-conforming products, our bureau has tasked the relevant municipal market regulatory authorities to investigate and punish in accordance with the law.
requires Hangzhou, Ningbo, Jinhua, Zhoushan, Lishui and other places market regulatory authorities to urge food production enterprises to find out the flow of products, recall unqualified products, analysis of the reasons for rectification;
shall, within 7 days from the date of the issuance of the circular, announce the risk prevention and control measures to the public, and within 3 months report to the Zhejiang Provincial Market Supervision Administration on the verification and disposal and make the announcement to the public.
