"target="_blank">PPG announced that it had reached a final agreement to acquire Indian Chimica Reggiana (ICR) SpA, a manufacturer of automotive refinish and light industrial coatings.
According to customary closing conditions, the transaction is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2020.
Financial terms have not been disclosed.

"target="_blank">PPG Automotive Refinish ICR was established in 1961 and is headquartered in Italy.
It mainly produces automotive refinish products, including putties, primers and varnishes under the SPRINT® brand.
The company also provides a full range of coatings, enamels and primers for light commercial vehicles and other light industrial coatings applications.
ICR has approximately 180 employees and its products are sold to more than 70 countries in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, the United States and Latin America.
Gary Danowski, Vice President of PPG Global Automotive Refinish, Light Industrial Coatings, said: "PPG’s acquisition of ICR will complement our current offerings in the automotive refinish and light industrial coatings industries, and add specialized value-added products to cater for distributors and body repairs.
