On February 21, China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation issued an announcement today at the Shanghai Clearing House that, with the approval of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, China Petrochemical Corporation was restructured from a state-owned enterprise to a wholly state-owned company, and the name of China Petrochemical Corporation was changed to China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation.
All the credits and debts of China Petrochemical Corporation before the restructuring, as well as various professional and special qualification certificates, will be taken over by the restructured China Petrochemical Corporation.
